1. Name

The organization shall be known as Africa Funeral Coop, hereinafter referred to as “AFC” or “the Cooperative.”

2. Offices

AFC operates as a decentralized organization, with members and operations spread across Africa and its diaspora. For administrative purposes, AFC’s primary point of contact is [Email Address].

3. Aims

3.1  To provide financial assistance to members and their nominated beneficiaries for funeral expenses upon the death of a member.

3.2  To foster a supportive network for Africans in the diaspora during times of bereavement.

3.3 To promote unity and solidarity among members by encouraging participation in and support for one another during funerals.

4. Membership

4.1 Definition: Member

• Must be of African origin or descent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must complete a membership registration form and create a verified AFC digital wallet.
• Must agree to the AFC Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

4.2 Registration

• Prospective members can register online at [AFC website].
• Registration requires providing personal information, beneficiary details, and linking a valid bank account to the AFC digital wallet.
• Membership is activated upon completion of registration and wallet verification.

4.3 Contributions

• AFC does not require annual or upfront contributions.
• Contributions are made on a “pay-as-you-go” basis, triggered by the death of a member and verified through the blockchain.
• The contribution amount per member is dynamic, decreasing as the membership grows, ensuring affordability for all.

4.4 Benefits

• Members are eligible for financial assistance to cover funeral expenses for themselves or their nominated beneficiaries.

4.5 Termination
